Danielle Mann, OPSWA Representative & Educator Danielle Mann is a dedicated Personal Support Worker, educator, and advocate with 14 years of experience supporting individuals across a wide range of health care and community settings. Throughout her career, Danielle has developed specialized experience in dementia care, autism support, palliative care, and mental health, bringing a compassionate, person-centred approach to every aspect of her work. Danielle’s passion extends beyond providing direct care. She is a strong advocate for Personal Support Workers and believes deeply in strengthening the recognition, education, professional standards, and voices of PSWs throughout Ontario’s health care system. Her commitment to advocacy naturally drew her to the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association (OPSWA), whose strong focus on advancing and supporting the PSW profession closely aligns with her own values. As an OPSWA Representative and Educator, Danielle is excited to share the knowledge, practical experience, and understanding she has gained throughout her career while continuing to learn alongside other professionals. She is passionate about empowering PSWs through education, mentorship, advocacy, and meaningful professional development. Danielle believes that PSWs are an essential part of the health care system and that education and advocacy are key to building a stronger future for the profession. In her role with OPSWA, she looks forward to connecting with PSWs, students, educators, and health care partners while contributing to a community that recognizes the skill, compassion, and value Personal Support Workers bring to the people they support every day.
