Eligibility Requirements:

Graduated with 600 hrs from an accredited Canadian PSW program, which meets the requirements of one of the following:

  • Ministry of Colleges and Universities
  • CESBA
  • National Association of Career Colleges
  • Colleges not associated with the NACC or CCO are partnered with the Ontario PSW Association, whose curriculum is approved by the MCU.
  • Graduates of the Health Care Aide program prior to 1998 and have maintained employment as a PSW
  • Graduates of the following programs:
    • Developmental Service Worker (42201)
    • Community Service Worker (42201)
    • Health Care Aide Certificate
    • Continuing Care Aide Certificate
    • Personal Care Assistant
