Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Services Worker (DSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA), Home Support Workers (HSW), Nursing Students, Paramedics, Internationally Trained Nurses are eligible to apply.

Enhanced PSWs (also referred to as Health Care Technicians or HCTs) provide complex care to palliative clients through a holistic, family-centred approach.In this role, you will enable clients to remain at home for a graceful and dignified end-of-life journey.

In this technology-enabled virtual model of care, you will provide bedside care to clients using a mobile application in collaboration with a Directing Registered Nurse and other members of an empathetic health care team.

Training will be provided to support advanced skill sets and requirements.

What we need from you:

  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Developmental Services Worker (DSW) or HealthCare Aide (HCA) Certificate
  • Internationally educated nurses and Nursing students eligible to apply
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate required
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
  • Current Criminal Records Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check is required
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
